A Brazilian native, Passiflora Edulis is a vigorous climber with glossy green lobed leaves. In summer, bowl-shaped white flowers with purple and white zoned coronas to around 7 or 8 cm across. Later small purple fruits are produced, which are edible and very tasty! Will require warm summer temperatures to set fruit, best grown in a conservatory or greenhouse. Can grow up to 5 meters if given enough climbing space, but can be easily trained to and form. Minimum recommended temperature around 15°C.
