The Pumpkin Beja is a large orange-type skin pumpkin. Weight 2-2.5kg. Its flesh is dark orange in color, high in carotene, and has a sweet, aromatic taste similar to that of hazelnuts.
The fruit can be stored in a cool, dry place for 5-6 months.
