Yellow Pointy (Capsicum chinense) The origin of the Yellow Pointy is the Caribbean. It is similar to the famous Pimenta Diomar because it is a very highly productive chili plant. It will get so full of peppers you will be amazed. The Yellow Pointy chilies ripen from green to yellow and have a crunchy texture and a sweet citrus taste profile. The peppers are about 3 to 4 cm long and about a half-inch in diameter at it’s widest. They have a lantern shape and heat is at habanero level but it’s a smooth burn not sharp. The Yellow Pointy chili plants grow up to 60 cm tall.
